Two Atmore Fire Department units and about half a dozen firefighters are currently at Tiger-Sul, where a cloud of smoke continued to build, possibly from a supply line behind one of the company’s storage facilities, early Sunday evening, Sept. 7.

Firemen were climbing to the top of the storage facility at 6:30 p.m. to identify the nature and intensity of the situation.

Two Atmore Police Department units and a MedStar ambulance also responded and were awaiting further developments.

If the situation worsens, Atmore Free Press will return to the scene.
