Brewton police have arrested an Atmore man and charged him with five felony counts in connection with two separate shooting incidents that took place more than seven months ago in the Brewton area.

According to an article posted online today (Sun., Aug. 3) by northescambianews.com, 36-year-old Tylee Ikeem Brown was taken into custody without incident by Brewton officers.

No details or specific locations at which the shootings occurred were released, except that each was committed in December 2024.

Escambia County Detention Center booking records show Brown is charged with three counts of attempted murder and two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied building.

Escambia County Detention Center records show Brown was processed into the facility at 4:04 p.m. on July 31. He remained in jail, awaiting a bond hearing, late this afternoon.
